Stayed for 2 nights and it was great. Parking behind the home. Beautiful Victorian with cable TV and DVD player in our room. Free WiFi included. Fantastic breakfast served each morning. Complimentary bottled water and coffee always available. Less than a .5 mile walk to many St. Michael attractions - the museum, St. Michael's Winery, Eastern Shore Brewing and all the various shops and restaurants. Great stay!

Stayed here only one night. We stayed in two rooms to accomodate my family of 4. We were on a coastal mini vacation that started in Ocean City, Maryland, then to St. Michaels, Cape May, NJ, and Ocean City, NJ. We've been to St. Michaels many times as well as other b&b's. Being a weekday stay, we were a bit surprised at the price, particularly after arriving and seeing the condition of the inn. It was definitely not up to typical bb standards for the high price we paid for not one but two rooms. When i asked if they provided afternoon tea with cookies or danish, we were told thats what a previous owner may have done, we just leave the coffee machine out for your use. So, no afternoon tea or snack as normally found. I saw other reviews mentioning cookies and bottled water, but i guess that was a previous owner or prior to a change in hospitality? The one room we had offered a king bed and fireplace. Since the fireplace was boarded up I'm assuming its not functioning in colder weather although its offered as a room with a fireplace (working or not)? The oddest thing we found in our one room was that there was no door to the bathroom! We are a close family but this was rediculous. You could not control the a\c or heat and various lights did not work and some actually missing bulbs. The porch\deck lights didn't work either....switch didn't work light and one bulb was also missing. Speaking of deck that both of our rooms shared...it was in disrepair, dirty. The chairs and cushions on the deck were dirty and not inviting or usable because of their condition. The screen door leading to our room was broken and missing its screen. The grounds were unkept and items were broken throughout the garden (path lights, etc.). Wallpaper was torn, worn or peeling in various places. Again, nowhere near the level expected at such a high price, and we paid that high price for two rooms. However, regardless of cost, we wouldn't stay here again unless pride of ownership was restored!! We did drive to their sister resort, which looked ok, but even as we walked around that site it was unkept....items were thrown about, the pool and hot tub were not very clean.......just nothing seemed inviting. We will give big kudos for Sallies breakfast creations, they were wonderful! I hope this honest review is helpful in setting future expectations as well as constructive criticism for the owners to consider addressing. Thank you for listening.

I really liked the food. the rooms were clean and beds very comfortable. They had makeup wipes in the bathroom which are not provided in most hotel chains. The free water bottles available were helpful especially on Sunday morning to help re-hydrate.The staff was so friendly. The bikes were great to get around town. It was located close to everything. Great B&B!

I stayed here during the St. Michael's Half Marathon. Pros: excellent location, clean, and the cookies were a nice touch. Cons: Given the price, the room and service were not up to par. By way of comparison, I stayed at B&B in Boston during the Dems Convention and New Orleans in the high tourist season, so I get paying for prime location in high-demand periods. But the high touch service I associate with this kind of venue was lacking. For one, the food: half the people staying that weekend were there for the race. The inn, however, did not offer breakfast at a time that took that into consideration. Given the price and the race-weekend clientele, I thought that neglectful. Even a muffin would have been much appreciated after the race -- instead I had to buy breakfast, which seems odd when staying at a bed and breakfast. The rooms itself was clean, but there was no door between the bathroom and the main bedroom, a detail which was not mentioned on the web site or when booking. I wouldn't stay here again, but if you don't mind the high price and you privilege the location, this might be for you.

Really great B&B. The location was perfect, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was divine (though not particularly diet-friendly). There's no pool, but the sister property has one that's available for guests. It's just under a mile away. Most importantly, the Parsonage Inn is pet-friendly, a big bonus for us. All told, the Parsonage Inn was a great backdrop for our short July 4th escape. We'd definitely stay again if we're back in the area.

Really nice B&B in the middle of Talbot street where most shops are, reasonably priced and next to a good restaurant. Owners were welcoming and I had only called in a few hours before on one of the busiest days (boat show) of the year. Some noise from traffic (it's right on the main street). Dining room was beautifully set. Breakfast was a little to fancy - I'm a bacon-and-eggs eater and we had french toast stuffed with cream cheese, homemade sausage and flavored with roses and lavender. No cable TV but huge selection of DVDs to borrow. WiFi throughout at no charge. Would stay there again.
